After years of experimentation with these two antique stills, Lesley Gracie, the master distiller at Girvan Distillery (a woman), perfected the ideal recipe.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eProduced at Girvan Distillery, Hendrick's Gin is a fusion of the two distillates flowing from the antique stills, following a distillation process lasting at least 12 hours. The botanicals either macerate in the spirit for 24 hours or are boiled, while others are steamed and infused. The recipe incorporates\u003cstrong\u003e 11 botanicals\u003c\/strong\u003e: yarrow, coriander, juniper, chamomile, cumin seeds, cubeb berries, elderflower, orange peel, lemon peel, angelica root, and iris root. Additionally, Bulgarian rose petals and German cucumbers are added just before bottling.
